Burmella is a word play of umbrella: the classic umbrella (or parasol) is a folding canopy traditionally supported by bamboo ribs mounted on a wooden pole designed to protect a person against rain or sunlight and Burma: the former name of the country where our brand is born.

Our logo takes the translation of 'umbrella' which in spoken Burmese language is 'htee' (pronounced like the T in T-shirt) written as:
